Read MoreWhy are kids such finicky eaters? As parents we go out of our way to cook healthy meals for our little ones only to be stuck at the table with barely poked at plates. Most of us have been there and it’s a tough spot to be in.
As a mom of two I’ve had my fair share of difficult dinners and bothersome breakfasts. That’s what inspired my collection of kid friendly recipes that have been tried, tested, and approved at our table.
My collection of recipes began with homemade baby food. Those are by far the healthiest meals but babies are easier to please. I opt for organic food where I can but that’s not always possible and that’s ok.
As my littles grew I started making recipes for toddlers and bigger kids as well as mommy and me meals. This collection puts more focus on tips to get kids to eat good food. Still healthy recipes but a little more friendly to the picky eater.
Every family is different. I encourage parents to browse my recipes, try them out, and tweak them to the tastes of your little ones. Sometimes simple substitutions can make all the difference.
I love to hear feedback on my recipes, how you have made them your own, and any tips or recipes parents may want to share. Your ideas might inspire something new and help another parent for whom mealtime is a battle of wills.
